DBLL 2021 COVID-19 GUIDELINES
All people visiting DBLL will attempt as much as possible to adhere to the following:
- Social distancing guidelines of 6 feet between people must be followed during practices and games.
- These guidelines must also be followed:
- All athletes and spectators should have no flu-like symptoms within the previous 72 hours including:
- Temperature of 100.4 degrees or greater
- Shortness of breath
- Chills
- Sore throat
- New loss of taste or smell
- All athletes and spectators should have not been in direct contact with a known case of COVID -19 within the previous 14 days.
- It is recommended that one should not attend if considered high risk or living in close quarters to someone having a high risk profile.
- If you need to sneeze or cough, please do so into a tissue or upper sleeve (not hands).
For the Players:
- Face coverings are required when inside any DBLL facilities or outside when not able to socially distance.*
- All athletes should bring their own water bottles. There should be no sharing of water bottles, team water coolers, and no team snacks.
- Players are encouraged to wipe down and disinfect their equipment both before and after practices and/or games.
- Please only come to the park for your scheduled practice or game. Practices and games will be scheduled with a small break between to accommodate for social distancing between teams.
For the Fans:
- Face coverings are required when inside any DBLL facilities or outside when not able to socially distance.*
* Face Mask Requirements means the required wearing of a Face Mask by any individual age of 10 or over during any period of time social distancing requirements cannot be met and an individual is within 6 feet if another person who is not a member of such individual’s household.
However, there is an exception when persons are engaged in an otherwise authorized sporting or exercise activity
