Did you know….  Each year, around 1,100 kids register with Daniel Boone Little League for spring baseball and softball.  The season runs for 10 weeks. If each of those kids bring parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts and uncles to the games then close to 30,000 come thought our gates each spring.

Did you know….Fall baseball and softball registration is about 700 kids annually. Those kids attend the ballpark about weekly for about 6 weeks. If each of those kids bring parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts and uncles to the games we probably see close to 10,000 come through out gates during the Fall season.

Did you know…. We also host all-stars each year which brings in about another 700 players and visitors as well. With all-stars and the tournaments. if we assume 30% of the teams are not local you are probably looking at about 900 hotel room nights per year. Assuming that 80% of all players eat at least lunch or dinner each day they are in town, it can be assumed that over 9,000 meals are bought in Columbia every year. Closest businesses affected are ~ Wendy's, Moser's, Arena Liquor, Trail Stop Brewery, Addison's, Jose Jalapeno's, Hy-Vee, Break-time, Rocket, Club Carwash, Pappo's, Scooters, 7 Brew, Duece Pub and Pit, Truman's, Dugout sports cards, Dick's Sporting Goods, Midway Golf and Games, etc. 

Did you know…. We host 5 tournaments every year and average about 50 teams per tournament. Some of the teams are the same but it would not be unreasonable to think that 40% of the teams are different. That's 1500 players and close to 5,000 visitors.
